BUYING PROCESS

1

GET PRE-APPROVED

This step is crucial and often overlooked until it's too late. Make sure you do this before falling in love with a home that isn't quite within your budget!

2

MEET WITH YOUR AGENT

Sit down with your agent and really iron out what is important to you. Don't forget to mention what you don't want as well. Be as detailed as possible.

3

FIND YOUR DREAM HOME

My absolute favorite part of the whole process; Searching for that perfect match. This stage can last hours or it can take months. Just be patient.

4

MAKE AN OFFER

This part is pretty nerve-wracking. Luckily you picked a great real estate agent who will make sure you present the strongest offer possible.

5

OFFER SIGNED

Amazing! Your offer is accepted. While it may seem like the end, there's still so much to do. Sit back and let your super duper amazing team handle the rest.

6

INSPECTIONS

Whether your offer has inspection contingencies or not, it's a good idea to get a home inspection. A good home inspector will tell you what's what.

7

APPRAISAL

If you are using a mortgage to buy the property, the lender is going to want to make sure that the house is worth what you're paying for it. Cue the nail biting!

8

TITLE

The title company will send you a title insurance policy. A title is a legal document that shows who owns a property and the ownership limitations.

9

DOCUMENTS TO LENDER

At this point we make sure all requested documents are sent to your lender prior to closing. Once they have everything, they will issue a clear to close.

10

FINAL WALK THROUGH

Before you sign the last bits and money changes hands, we need to make sure the house is in condition agreed upon in the purchase agreement.

11

CLOSING DAY!!!

Congratulations!!!! The day is finally here. All that hard work has paid off and you get to grab your new keys and let yourself into your gorgeous new home!

12

ENJOY YOUR NEW HOME

It's time to pat yourself on the back and congratulating yourself for doing something huge. And don't forget to invite me to the house warming party!
